Northwest Pipeline, a large 3,900-mile system, crosses Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. Owned by The Williams Companies, Inc., and operated by Northwest Pipeline Corporation, it serves utility/power and midstream sectors at more than 50% utilization. Major customers include Puget Sound Energy Inc., Intermountain Gas Co., and Northwest Natural Gas Co. Northwest Pipeline LLC is subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and is engaged in the transportation and storage of natural gas in interstate commerce.
