Pipeline Description

Equitrans operates a medium-sized 940-mile pipeline system in the Marcellus and Utica regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. This system, owned and operated by Equitrans Midstream Corporation, includes approximately 940 miles of FERC-regulated, interstate pipelines with interconnect points to seven interstate pipelines and multiple local distribution companies (LDCs). It is supported by 43 compressor units with a total throughput capacity of approximately 4.4 Bcf per day and compression of about 136,000 horsepower, and 18 associated natural gas storage reservoirs with a peak withdrawal capacity of approximately 820 MMcf per day and a working gas capacity of about 43 Bcf. Operating at nearly full capacity, Equitrans primarily serves the utility/power and producers sectors, with notable customers such as Eqt Energy LLC, Range Resources-Appalachia, and Peoples Natural Gas.
