Bose, Secretary Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 888 First Street, NE Washington, DC 20426 Re: Texas Eastern Transmission, LP, Docket No. RP14-____-000 Dear Ms. Bose: Pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act1 and Part 154 of the regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) promulgated thereunder,2 Texas Eastern Transmission, LP (Texas Eastern) hereby submits for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Eighth Revised Volume No. 1 (Tariff), the tariff records listed in Appendix A to be effective on February 7, 2014. STATEMENT OF NATURE, REASONS AND BASIS Rate Schedules FTS-7 and FTS-8 Section 10 of Rate Schedules FTS-7 and FTS-8 contains a listing of the customers that executed service agreements under Rate Schedule IT-1 for interruptible service provided under Rate Schedules SS-2 and SS-3, respectively, prior to June 1, 1993. Texas Eastern is proposing to modify these sections to correct certain customer names to reflect notifications of corporate name changes that have been provided to Texas Eastern. The name changes are summarized in Appendix B hereto. Modifications to GT&C Section 3.13(B) Section 3.13(B) of the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) of the Tariff contains a list of service agreements that are not subject to pregranted abandonment and that may be abandoned by Texas Eastern only upon receipt of Commission approval under Section 7(b) of the Natural Gas Act. Texas Eastern is proposing to modify this list to correct certain customer names to reflect notifications of corporate name changes that have been provided to Texas Eastern. The name changes are summarized in Appendix B hereto. Modifications to GT&C Section 3.18 GT&C Section 3.18 contains a list of service agreements that contain material deviations from the pro forma service agreement that was in effect at the time that each of the listed service agreements was executed.
