Washington, D.C. 20426 ~.< ~ m Z ,_1 Re: Gulf LNG Energy LLC Docket No. PF05-5-O00 Dear Ms. Salas: On November 17, 2004, Gulf LNG Energy LLC ("Gulf LNG'') submitted a request that the Staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("Commission") initiate a National Environmental Policy Act ("NEPA") pre-filing review of its proposed LNG import terminal to be located in Jackson County, Mississippi (the "LNG Clean Energy Project''). On December 26, 2004, the Director of the Office of Energy Projects granted Gulf LNG's request for use of the NEPA pre-filing process. In accordance with the Commission's regulations and its NEPA pre-filing review procedures, Gulf LNG hereby submits an original and seven copies of (i) Volume I, containing Public versions of Draft Resource Reports 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 12 and Public Tables, Figures and Appendices; and (ii) Volume II, containing Non-Internet Public Figures and Appendices. Gulf LNG hereby also submits an original and two copies of Volume Ill, containing Critical Energy Infrastructure Information ("CEIl"), as defined in Section 388.113(cX1) of the Commission's regulations, 18 C.F.R. 388.113(c)(1) (2004). Gulf LNG requests confidential treatment for this material, which should not be released to the public. Accordingly, Volume III has been marked as "Critical Energy Infrastructure Information - Do Not Release." Gulf LNG also is submitting a compact disk ("CD") containing Public Volume No. I. Pursuant to Rule 2011(cX5) of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 C.FR. 385.201 l(cX5), the undersigned states that the paper copies contain the same information as contained on the electronic media, that he knows the contents of the paper copies and the electronic media, and that, to the best of his information, knowledge, and belief, the contents are true.
