The Fayetteville Shale in the Arkansas portion of the Arkoma Basin spans 2,838 square miles with 20.4 Tcf of recoverable natural gas as of early 2013. The total production from operators in this area reached approximately 3,725 MBOE in 2021. Leading contributors include Black Stone Minerals, Flywheel Energy Production, PHX Minerals, SEECO, and XTO Energy. For the last 12 months, Fayetteville Shale produced 29,7 million cubic feet of natural gas.
