Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company APPLICATION OF TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE COMPANY FOR A CI~RTIFICATE QF PUBLIC CONVENIEN(~E AND ~I~(~ESSITY Pursuant to Section 7() of the Natural Gas Act, 15 U.S.C. 717f(c), as amended ("NGA"), and Subpart A of the Regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("Commission"), 18 C.F.R. 157.7, et seq., Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company CTennessee") requests that the Commission issue a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity authorizing it to extend its supply facilities in federal waters offshore Louisiana, as described V herein. Tennessee proposes to construct approximately 6.23 miles of 24-inch pipeline extending its existing 30-ineh Line 523M-2300, known as the Triple-T Line, to establish an interconnect with Enterprise Products Parmers L.P.'s ("Enterprise") 20-inch Anaconda Gathering System ("Anaconda System") in Eugene Island Block 371 ("El 371"). This extension of Tennessee's Triple-T Line, known as the Triple-T Extension Project ("Project"), is designed to meet the needs of increasing demand for natural gas service by increasing receipt of deepwater natural gas supplies into Tennessee's system.
