Washington, D.C. 20426Re: Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (Transco) Pascagoula Expansion Project Docket No. CP09-456-000 3rd Quarterly Status Report June, 2012 September, 2012Ladies and Gentlemen:This post construction, 3rd quarterly status report is being filed pursuant to Section VII.B.2 of the Commissions Upland Erosion Control, Revegetation, and Maintenance Plan used for the Pascagoula Expansion Project, Docket No. CP09-456-000 (Project).Post-Construction Status Transco completed the first year of post construction wetland monitoring in accordance with the FERC Wetland and Waterbody Construction and Mitigation Procedures (Sections VI.D.3. and VI.D.4) the week of August 13, 2012. Wetland revegetation is considered successful if the cover of herbaceous and/or woody species is at least 80% of the type, density, and distribution of the vegetation in adjacent wetland areas that were not disturbed by construction. Monitoring of wetlands will terminate upon a determination of successful revegetation.A qualitative assessment was completed on 14 wetlands that were temporarily impacted by construction of the Project. Based upon this assessment, 12 of the 14 impacted wetlands surveyed have met revegetation success criteria and are therefore deemed complete and will not be assessed during the second year of monitoring. Two of the 14 wetlands did not meet revegetation success criteria and are therefore deemed incomplete. These two wetlands will be assessed again in 2013. A detailed report, Pascagoula Expansion Project Wetland Monitoring Report Year One 2012, is attached to this quarterly report.
